BLACK JANUARY COMMEMORATION – JAFFNA

Sri Lanka Working Journalists Association (SLWJA) with Jaffna Press Club commemorated Black January by displaying protest boards in front of the Jaffna Main Bus Stand. In addition, leaflets were distributed among public to make them aware of the situation.

This years’ theme of Black January is ‘TO ENSURE JUSTICE FOR JOURNALISTS WHO WERE MURDERED, FORCIBLY DISAPPEARED, ASSAULTED AND THREATENED.
